Sunday - Making Our Home in Ensenada
A few of our team members made a trip to the home site this afternoon to prepare for the first day of construction on Monday. It's going to be a challenging site - not much room for materials on the property and some barbwire to deal with. But our team is more than up to the task. There's just something energizing about making a home for a fellow Christian family here in Ensenada. In three days, we will raise a home and see a family overwhelmed to move in such a modest shelter. It's both a joyful and convicting moment when we acknowledge just how much we have at home and just how humble a home this one is in comparison. But, as we all have been told and hopefully truly know, it's not the stuff that makes a house a home, it's a family gathered together by God. Here and in the Boro, we are equally blessed by the presence of the Lord. And God is good. All the time.
