Wednesday - We Are All Children at the City of Children

While spoken language was confused at Babel, it seems the Lord let unspoken language have a pass. We can't always understand each others' words,  but we can understand one another in play.

What an amazing group of teens have come to the City of Children from North Boulevard. They jump right in and don't hold back. They get down on their knees and get eye to eye with the kids. They color pictures, throw balls, stack blocks, jump rope, play games, braid hair, make faces, get silly and their reward? Sometimes it's just momentary laughter -- and that alone would be enough -- but more often than not, it's far more -- it's a child that will come out to play the next day looking just for them.

It's a wonderful thing to have a small child who searches you out and knows your name. Because if someone is looking to be with you, you can never truly be lost.

And the final recipient of the Festival of Sharing hat for 2015 was...wait for it...Tatum England!
